2. Explain real estate agency relationships.
3. Orient you to current market conditions.
4. Provide helpful community data.
5. Explain local real estate practices and procedures.
6. Provide information on lenders and financing alternatives as part of the financial pre-qualification
process to identify your range of affordability and increase your negotiating strength.
7. Search the local Multiple Listing Service for suitable properties and show you properties that
meet the criteria you have identified.
8. Coordinate appointments and show all properties of interest, whether the properties are our
listings or not.
9. Provide relevant market data as to fair market value of homes under consideration, and discuss
features of the property that may affect its value and future resale.
10. Explain the offer-presentation process.

11. Prepare a negotiation strategy for the property you have selected.

Endeavour
to present your purchase offer in a timely manner to the seller in the presence of
the listing associate.
13. Explain post-purchase activities and responsibilities.
14. Provide information regarding qualified home inspectors and appraisers as may be required as
part of your due diligence process.
15. Review with you all inspection reports and other documents pertaining to the condition of the
property, and advise you regarding any remedies that should be addressed in the offer to purchase.
16. Follow-up on post-purchase activities with you, and monitor and inform you of the progress
of the purchase agreement.
17. Accompany you on a walk-through inspection, if one is provided for in the sales contract, before
closing and assist you in dealing with any problems discovered during the walk-through.
18. Keep confidential any information that you designate as confidential.
